About the directory

polska.exchange lists exchange offices in Poland where you can exchange crypto in person, at the counter. Each listing has the address, opening hours, phone number, coins and payment methods.

We collect the data by hand from exchange websites, maps and directories. Every listing shows where the data came from and when it was last checked.

Check the rate, commission and whether the office has the amount you need before you go. We do not carry out exchanges and are not responsible for an office’s terms.

Frequently asked questions

What should I check before visiting a crypto exchange office?
Check that the address and phone number match the exchange’s official website, and ask about the rate and commission in advance. Look the company up in the CASP register kept by ESMA: it shows whether the company is authorised to provide crypto services in the EU. Do not hand over money or crypto until the terms are confirmed.
What documents do I need to exchange crypto?
It depends on the office and the amount. Exchange offices must follow anti-money-laundering rules, so they may ask for a passport or other photo ID, and for a large amount, ask where the money comes from. Ask the office in advance what you will need.
How long does an exchange take?
The exchange itself usually takes a few minutes at the counter. If you are sending crypto, the office waits for the transaction to be confirmed on the network, which depends on the coin and how busy the network is. For a large amount, the office may ask you to book in advance.
How do I avoid fraud?
Exchange only at the office itself, not on the street or with a "courier" from a messaging app. Count the cash before you leave the counter, and never tell anyone your seed phrase or wallet passwords. A rate far better than everyone else’s is a warning sign.
